At Studio Slim it is our aim to offer services for health that are holistic, natural, pain free and and non-invasive. It is our mission to serve our community with compassion, while offering services that get to the core of the problem and offer solutions that work and are not harmful. We want to empower people by empowering their health, so they can go out and live out their mission, dreams and purpose in life.
After receiving her Naturopathic Doctor degree in 2008, Lisa Rhodes wanted a place where people could come and receive natural holistic health advice and alternative options for pain and weight loss. She became a Bowenwork practitioner and instructor through the The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia. Lisa ran Bowtech Health Center for 10 years. In January of 2022, Lisa along with her daughter Alyssa Rhodes added LED Body Contouring weight loss lights and the Newwave weight loss program to the practice. The name was changed to Studio Slim and weight loss became the main focus. Deonna Alford came on board as our office manager and has also became a certified UltraSlim technician. Also we have added Donna Wolfer, a licensed aesthetician to the team to bring together a well rounded holistic team to help clients feel and look their best.

Lisa Rhodes
Lisa received her teaching degree in 1986 and then married and immediately started a family. She was a stay-at-home mom for 20yrs raising 2 boys and a girl. She started her Naturopathy practice in 2008 and then went on to get her Applied Clinical Nutrition. During this time she was also learning the Bowen Technique and the use of the EPFX/ Scio machine. Natural health and helping people is her passion.
She believes Samuel Johnsons Quote: “To preserve health is a moral and religious duty, for health is the basis for all social virtues. We can no longer be useful when not well.”
Lisa loves Bowenwork, because it allows the body to use its God given internal wisdom to heal. Bowen practitioners are only stimulating the body to self-correct. Getting to the source of an issue can be difficult to discover, but with Bowenwork the body is able to figure it out. This is truly natural healing at its finest. When roadblocks to health are removed then the body will adjust. Correction achieved with medication or surgery is appealing to everyone. This gentle work can been done on old and young alike without the risk of doing harm, which makes it the ultimate modality of health.
Lisa enjoys teaching because she is sharing and spreading this ultimate modality of health. She feels that when you have something as precious as Bowenwork in your hands then you need and are obligated to share it. It would be a travesty to lose this modality because one wanted to be the only one in their area to be able to service people. It is her goal to be able to continue spreading the Bowenwork with all who are willing to learn wherever that may take her to help spread Bowenwork.

I am a Licensed clinical esthetician and have been in practice for 25 years. I go to further education seminars at least twice a year to keep up with what’s going on in the industry. I work one on one with my clients, assessing their skin, educating them about products and help to improve their skin to the best of my knowledge.
My standard facial is superior to most estheticians because of my education and time in the field. I love what I do and put 110% into my practice.

My practice includes lots of different types of facials based on skin type and age, specialty anti-aging eye treatments, chemical peels from light to mid-depth, all types of waxing, removal of moles and skin tags, and lots of different anti-aging treatments.
Dermaplaning – which removes the vellum hair and dead surface cells, which is like getting a chemical peel without any downtime and it leaves your skin red-carpet ready and glowing
Microneedling – on face, neck and décolleté – which damages the epidermis and forces it to produce elasticin and collagen which helps keep the skin’s firmness
Skin scraper – Which is like microdermabrasion, except it uses water and vibration to blast your skin cells off to exfoliate and hydrate the skin
Microdermabrasion – exfoliates the skin using suction and a diamond tip handpiece.
